Chocolate Buttercream Icing

140g butter

280g icing sugar

1-2 tbsp milk

3-4 tbsp cocoa powder

 

In a large bowl, beat the butter until it’s soft and whipped up. Sift together the icing sugar and three tablespoons of cocoa powder. Add one third of your icing sugar and cocoa to the butter and mix until smooth. Add another third of icing sugar/cocoa, along with a tablespoon of milk and mix until smooth. Then add your last third of icing sugar/cocoa until creamy and smooth. If you need to, add another tablespoon of milk or another tablespoon of cocoa powder if you want that extra hit of chocolate.
